November 2022 marks a milestone birthday for us at French Country Collections.
Our story was born 35 years ago, with a vision to decorate homes with pieces that you just couldn’t otherwise find. We teamed up with talented retailers and designers across Australia & New Zealand, who share our love of timeless homewares. We are very thankful for the partnerships we have built over the years that have enabled our brand to flourish, and the reason French Country Collections can be found in homes across the country.

Q: What makes you choose French Country for your store?
A: the suitability of the product for our customer base, the quality, the occasional quirky fun item, the colours, the range, and the timelessness of the product.
Q: Do you have a favourite product or product range from French Country? If so, why?
A: The Christmas range is always spot on for our customers, but just naming one range it would be glassware.
Q: Tell us a little more about the look and feel of your store.
A: we aim to show product that looks good, has good quality, and won’t date too quickly with a view to encouraging customers to ‘buy once, buy right.’ We move/re-vamp displays regularly to maintain a fresh look. Our target market is mid to upper-end so your product fits perfectly.
Q: What does the future look like for your store and brand?
A: retail is flat at the moment but we try to maintain a fresh look so customers don’t get bored. We try to ‘know’ our market niche and buy/display accordingly, and we’re strict about not moving too far away from our niche.
